Good Friday morning to all of you. I hope your week has gone well and
wish you a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
This coming week we have 2 outings scheduled starting with the Labor
Day event at the Greenbrier Resort. Please plan to arrive around 11am.
We will start the preround program around 11:30am. You will have time
to warmup, putt and use the range starting at noon. We have 13 teams
and will start on the first 10 holes at 1pm. I spoke with Hill Herrick
about what happens if the weather becomes an issue once we start play.
He said they would only charge us for what we play. Since we tee at
1pm we probably have up to 2 hours of extra time available if there is
a delay for some reason. This event will NOT be cancelled ahead of
time. You must show even if the weather is questionable to see if we
can get it in.
The other outing next week is at Riverbend on Thursday September 4th at 5pm.
We continue to have 2 outings open for signups:
Saturday September 20 at Stonewall Resort at 1pm (Deadline to enter is
Friday September 12th) Cost is $47 for CGA members and $52 for
nonmembers.
Tuesday October 14 at Lakeview Resort at 11am (Deadline to enter is
Monday October 6) Cost is $40 for CGA members and $45 for nonmembers.
