1-The CGA Board is meeting on Sunday March 1st at 3pm at the Tennerton UM Church to discuss final plans for the 2015 golf season. If you have any suggestions please pass them on to me prior to this meeting.

2-So far I have scheduled 28 outings for this season. I plan to add 2 more in the near future to bring the total to 30. We have 20 scheduled for Buckhannon (15 at Riverbend and 5 at Buckhannon CC) and will have 10 other outings planned.

3-Mike Rogers has assured me that no footgolf will be played during our scheduled outings at Riverbend. He is also offering a CGA outing season price of $100 for all 15 scheduled outings at Riverbend. To break even you would need to play a minimum of 10 of the 15 outings. Anyone interested in this offer please let me know by Sunday April 12th at the Preseason Meeting and Tipoff outing.

4-Pat Brake (President of Buckhannon CC) told me yesterday that Buckhannon CC is honored to host our CGA Chapter. He said we are respectful to the course and we take good care of their carts. Would Jesus expect any less from us?

He also wanted me to pass on to you that they are looking for new members. They are currently offering a special family deal for the next 3 years. The person would pay $600 the first year, $700 the second year and $800 the third year. They would then go to the regular rate the fourth year. This does not include a cart or storage fees for a cart. Anyone interested in speaking to Pat about this can call him.

5-Our April 19th outing at Stonewall is free of charge. We will meet at 2pm for registration, hold devotions and prayer around 2:30 and tee off at 3pm. We currently have 39 signed up to play. Here is my current list:

6-We are doing an overnight trip to Alpine Lake June 24-25. I have booked 8 rooms at this time (2 per room). The cost is $120 for each golfer and $50 for each nongolfer. This includes 1 night stay, 2 18 holes of golf with cart and a breakfast buffet on Thursday morning. To hold a room I need $50 from each golfer and $25 from each nongolfer at this time. The final payment is due by June 1st to the CGA. So far Natalie and I have 1 room and Harry Grose is in a second room (he needs someone to room with).

7-Our third trip to the Greenbrier is scheduled for Monday September 7th (Labor Day). The cost is $75 per person for our Chapter members if paid in full by June 1st and $80 if after. The cost is $80 for non Chapter members if paid in full by June 1st and $85 after. To reserve one of the 64 spots I need a $50 deposit payable to the CGA.

8-All payments should be made out to the CGA and mailed to me Mike Hinkle at 56 Hickory Flat Road, Buckhannon WV 26201. Please also include a note as to what you are paying on.
