Christian Golfers Association

First, the CGA Board is meeting on Sunday February 28th to discuss the upcoming season. If you have any thoughts or ideas to suggest for our season please email me by the first of February so I can include them on the agenda for the meeting. 

Second, we have a trip planned to Fancy Gap from Monday July 11th through Wednesday July 13th. I have reserved all 6 motel rooms and both of their condo style lodgings. So far Bob and Ellnora Withers are the only ones to pay down a deposit on a room. I need $200 for each room if there are 2 golfers in that room. I need $150 for each room that includes 1 golfer and 1 nongolfer. I am going to hold the condo rooms only until the first of February. I will keep the 6 motel rooms at least until we start playing in April. Please make all payments payable to the CGA.

Third, I have been working on the golf schedule for this year. I have the following to announce at this time so you can mark your calendars:

Thursday June 30 Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe

Thursday July 28  Glade Springs-Woodhaven Course

Saturday August 27 Pregnancy Center Tournament at Riverbend

Saturday September 24 Preston CC

The Preseason Meeting/tipoff outing is Sunday April 17th at Riverbend at 2pm.

We will be playing at Riverbend on alternating Thursday evenings from April 28th through September 1st and then some Sunday afternoons after that. I am working with Buckhannon CC and Bel Meadows on some outings as well.
