Hope all is well with you all on this Monday midday. We have
rescheduled our last CGA outing of the year for next Sunday November 4
at Riverbend. We will start registration at 1:30pm. On Friday I will
see how the week has gone (weather wise) and see what the forcast has
for Sunday to determine whether to try and play or not. To determine
whether to eat or not following golf I would like for you to email me
if you plan to eat next Sunday with us. If we get more than 10 that
would eat if we play next Sunday I will let Mike Rogers know. I will
get back with you on Wednesday with additional info and again on
Friday with a final decision to play next Sunday or not. Stay warm,
stay dry and most importantly stay safe these next few days.

Good Tuesday morning to you all. Our next outing is this Saturday at
Stonewall. We have 17 signed up as of today. We have room for 3 more
players if anyone is still interested. At this outing we will draw
for teams. Please be at course between noon and 12:15pm. We will do
devotions and draw for teams around 12:30pm and tee off at 1pm. The
cost is $43 per player payable to the CGA by check or cash. Please
remember the dress code at Stonewall.

Anyone interested in going to the American Mountain Theater for their
Christmas show needs to let me know by this Sunday October 21. The
cost is $22 per person. The show is Saturday December 1 at 7:30pm. We
have several tickets available for those interested.

Good Wednesday to all of you. Each of the CGA outings require a
minimum of 10 players to be an official outing. We have 10 signed up
for Friday at Clarksburg CC. So it is very important that all 10
players be at the outing. Here is the current list I have.

If anyone knows that they are not going to make it Friday at 11am
please let me know in time to try to get someone else to go. If anyone
still would like to join us this Friday please let me know. We will do
devotions at 11:30am and teeoff at 12 noon. The cost is $39 per
person.

Also we have an outing this Sunday at Riverbend. We will start
registration at 1:30pm. We will play 2 person scramble.

We also have room for 6 players at Stonewall on the 20th if anyone is
still interested. This outing will be random draw for teams. We will
begin registration at noon with devotions at 12:30 and teeoff at 1pm.

One final thing. If anyone is interested in going to the American
Mountain Theater in Elkins Christmas Show on Saturday December 1 at
7:30. I have tickets available for $22 each. I need to know by the
20th of this month with a check written to the Tennerton UM Church.
This is a great show and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

When you get the email, you do not need to print out the tickets they send. All you have to do is show up.

Currently this will be a shotgun start, so make sure you are there by 1:45pm.

$32 (course fee, we are not getting any money) to Mike in the form of cash or check (made out to Christian Golfer’s Association) before the start. This way he can pay the golf fees all at once to save on time.

On Saturday August 13 we are having Family/Friend Day at Riverbend. It will be a 4 person scramble (18 hole round) with lunch to follow. The cost is $20 for golf and lunch ($10 for Riverbend members). Also, Mike is offering to anyone who has never played Riverbend with the CGA a chance to play and eat for $10 as well. Also, if a member of the CGA brings someone new to the CGA and Riverbend both the CGA member and friend/family
member(s) can all play and eat for $10 on this date. Here is the schedule for this Saturday event at Riverbend.

8-8:30am – Registration
8:30am – Devotions
9:00am – Golf (4 person scramble-18 holes)
1:30pm – Lunch to follow golf around

Deadline to enter is August 6 at 9pm
