First-I have 4 dates set with Stonewall. They are all Sunday afternoon dates:

April 19, May 24, July 26 and September 27 (registration for all of these are 2pm)

Randy Hernly of Stonewall told me he is starting a short course at Stonewall using the current layout with shorter holes (called the King's Course). He wants some feedback on this layout and he thought the CGA might be interested in being a test group. He has offered April 19th for us to play the short course FREE of charge. He just wants our feedback following the round. The course can be played in around 3 hours or so. I am starting a signup sheet to join us for this FREE round of golf. If you are interested drop me an email with the names of the players who would like to participate. At this time I have 40 spots available, but possibly  could get more if needed.

The other 3 outings will remain $47 to participate in May, July and August.

Second-I have scheduled a trip to Alpine Lake (2 days/1 night) for Wednesday June 24 and Thursday June 25. The cost will be around $120 per person which includes 1 night stay, 2 rounds of golf with cart and a breakfast buffet on Thursday morning. I have reserved 8 rooms at this time and will call about more if needed. The deposit to signup is $50 per person at this time. We will start golf on Wednesday around noon and will tee off at around 9am on Thursday. The cost for nongolfers will be a little less. The cost to reserve one of the 8 rooms at this time is $50 for singles and $100 per couple. The entire amount will be due the CGA around  June 1st. Third-The Greenbrier event is set for Labor Day September 7th. We will once again start registration around 11am with a 1pm shotgun start. We have room for 64 golfers max. I need a  $50 deposit per player to hold a spot in this event. The total cost for playing this year will be:

CGA of Northcentral WV Member $80 ($75 if paid in full by June 1st)

Others $85 ($80 if paid in full by June 1st)

All payments can be sent to me at 56 Hickory Flat Road, Buckhannon WV with checks payable to CGA.

I will continue to work on the schedule for the next few weeks. The CGA Board is meeting on Sunday March 1st to make final plans and the season will tip off on Sunday April 12th.
