CGA News and Notes-Monday March 23, 2015
Good evening friends. We are now 20 days from the start of the 2015 CGA golf season on Sunday April 12th. We will start the Preseason Meeting at 2pm and weather permitting will play a 9 hole tipoff outing around 3pm. Please plan to join us for this first outing of the season and try to invite others to be a part of the CGA Ministry.
Mark Twain once said, "It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want-oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!" That pretty much sums up my feelings about golf at this time. I have not played since October 14th. I look forward to seeing all of you and playing golf with you.
The April portion of the schedule goes like this:
Sunday April 12 Riverbend 2pm Preseason Meeting/Tipoff Outing
Sunday April 19 Stonewall 2pm We currently have room for 3 more
Thurs. April 23 Riverbend 5pm
Sat. April 25 Glenville 10am $25 per player-Deadline 4/17 to enter
