CGA News and Notes-Monday August 10, 2015

The rain kept falling this evening and forced the cancellation of tonight's outing at Buckhannon CC. We next play Thursday at Riverbend in our annual Par 3 event at 5pm. We will give away nine $25 gift cards to various restaurants for the closest to the pin on each of the 9 holes. We will play individual play for this event since each hole is so short. We will put a maximum score of 6 on each hole, so you can just pick up after 6 strokes. If anyone gets a hole in one they will win ALL nine cards.

We currently have room for 7 golfers for the August 22nd outing at Brier Patch near Beckley. We have the following 13 players scheduled to participate:
Mike/Natalie Hinkle
Ron/Melissia Lamb
Charlie Straley
Ken Riffle
Bob Mills
Bob Kincaid
Clay Persinger

Tom Frazier
The deadline to enter is this Friday August 14th. Plan to arrive by 11:30am for registration and devotions and prayer. Our tee times begin at 12:30pm and run to around 1pm. The cost is $40 per player payable to the CGA by check or cash.
