Clarksburg CC results

It was a very nice fall day today at Clarksburg CC. It was a bit
chilly but a great day to be out in God’s creation. We had the minimum
of 10 players today at our outing and we enjoyed playing the
Clarksburg CC layout. I would recommend it to everyone. Here are
today’s results:

Ron Lamb/Mike Hinkle-82
Don Swisher/Don Dolan-84
Steve Liptak/Clay Persinger-87
Jeff Zickefoose/Lynelle Zickefoose-90
Ken Riffle/George Moore-90

Longest Drive #7-Steve Liptak
Longest Putt #3-Mike Hinkle
Closest to the Pin #18-none

A big thanks to the Oak Mound Evangelical Church for sponsoring
today’s outing. Also, thanks to Ken Riffle for getting everything set
up for today.

Please join us on Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm at Riverbend for our next
outing. We still have 6 spots for next weekends outing at Stonewall on
Saturday if anyone is interested.

To update everyone on the Match Play tournament. Phil Austin and I are
in the finals. We plan to play on Sunday October 21 in the afternoon.
If Phil wins then we must play one more match to determine this years
champion.

God Bless and have a great weekend. The weather looks great for both days.

Verse of the Day
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! — Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV)
