CGA News and Notes-Friday September 30, 2016
Good day to all of you.
We play Sunday at Riverbend. Remember I have moved the starting time for registration up to 1:30p so we can start shortly after 2p.
We also play at Riverbend on the 16th and at Bel Meadows on the 22nd to complete the 2016 CGA golf schedule. So far I have only 1 person (Bob Kincaid) who has signed up to play at Bel Meadows. We will need to know by the 16th who wants to join him.

Good day.
I have booked 40 tickets to Ernie Haase and Signature Sounds Christmas Show at the American Mountain Theater on Saturday December 3rd at 7:30pm. The cost is $24 for adults and $16 for ages 5-18. Those under 5 are free but must have a seat. If you are interested in going with us all checks should be made out to the Tennerton UM Church. The deadline is October 30th or when all 40 seats are spoken for.

Good morning on this 28th day of September.
We play at Riverbend this Sunday October 2nd with registration starting at 1:30pm instead of 2pm. I plan to start devotions at 1:50 so we can tee off shortly after 2pm.
We play our last outing at Riverbend on the 16th of October.
The last scheduled outing of the year is Saturday October 22nd at Bel Meadows at 11am. We currently have no one signed up at this time. I will be out of town that day. We will decide on Sunday October 16th to have this outing or not. You can signup by email or by phone at 472-4047 or you can signup at either of the Riverbend outings that are left.

CGA News and Notes-Monday September 26, 2016
On this Monday the golf world mourns the loss of Arnold Palmer. May we remember his family at this time in our prayers. May we also continue to pray for the CGA ministry.
We play next Sunday October 2nd at Riverbend. I have moved the registration start time up to 1:30pm so we can start playing shortly after 2pm. Please plan to arrive by 1:45pm so I can start devotions at 1:50pm. This is a 9 hole outing.
We also play at Riverbend on Sunday October 16th and we are scheduled to play at Bel Meadows on Saturday October 22nd with registration at 11am. I will not be able to play at Bel Meadows since I am going to see my daughter at college that weekend. We will need at least 8 players to hold that outing. The decision will be made by October 16th about the Bel Meadows outing.
For those interested there will be a Revival meeting this Sunday evening at the Mt. Olive UM Church in Hinkleville. The service will begin at 6pm. The Dean Family will be singing and Ed McDaniels will bring the message.

Also, if you have any golf related equipment or items that you would like to donate to the CGA for a silent auction on the 16th after golf that would be great. All proceeds would go to our chapter.
The last outing for 2016 is at Bel Meadows on Saturday October 22nd with registration starting at 11am. You can signup for this outing starting today.

CGA Riverbend-cancelled due to weather
Today’s outing at Riverbend has been cancelled due to rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for the rest of the afternoon. Anyone still wanting to signup for Buckhannon CC tomorrow evening or for Preston CC next Saturday please email me or call me at 472-4047. Remember tomorrow we will begin registration at 4:30pm and I will start devotions around 4:50pm so we can tee off shortly after 5pm.
