CGA News and Notes-Friday September 16, 2016
Good late afternoon on this Friday. I wanted to mention that there is a good chance of rain on Sunday. At this time that would be a great blessing from God. So please check your emails between 12:30 and 1pm before heading to Riverbend to see if I have cancelled the outing. If there is no word by 1pm then you make your own decision about coming. I think Monday will be OK for Buckhannon CC. Just remember that Monday we are starting registration at 4:30 and teeing off shortly after 5pm.

CGA News and Notes-Thursday September 15, 2016
Good day. One month from today on Saturday October 15th there will be a Gospel concert by a gentlemen by the name of Jason Runnels. The concert will be held at the Chapel Hill UM Church in Buckhannon at 7pm that day. I would appreciate any help in announcing this at your church and passing the word on. This is going to be a wonderful evening of praise and worship. Hope you can make it. Please mark your calendars.

CGA News and Notes-Wednesday September 14, 2016
Good evening Christian friends. In the next month or so we have the final 6 outings for 2016. It begins this coming Sunday at Riverbend at 2pm. We will definitely play 9 holes, but could play an additional 9 for those who might be interested.
We also play this coming Monday at Buckhannon CC with registration starting at 4:30pm. I will begin devotions at 4:50pm so we can tee off shortly after 5pm. If anyone is still interested in signing up please do so tomorrow. We currently have 10 players scheduled:

CGA News and Notes-Sunday September 11, 2016
Good evening to all of you on this 11th day of September.
Our next outing is next Sunday the 18th at Riverbend. We will start registration at 2pm. We will play 9 holes and if 6 or more wants to play an additional 9 we will do that.
We also play at Buckhannon CC on Monday the 19th. We will move the start time for registration up to 4:30pm so we can begin play by 5:15pm to avoid darkness setting in before we can finish. At this time we have the following scheduled to play:

Good morning. Hope you have a great Thursday. We have 6 outings still remaining on the 2016 CGA golf schedule. We have 3 at Riverbend and 3 others. Here are the dates:

I hope your Labor Day weekend was great. It was such a wonderful weather weekend. I wanted to update everyone on the remaining schedule of outings for 2016. Hope you can make it out as we complete our 7th season as a chapter. God has richly blessed our chapter all these years.
We have 3 outings in September and 3 in October:
September
Sunday the 18th at Riverbend-We will begin registration at 2pm. We will play the first 9 holes and then if 6 or more want to play 9 additional holes we will play again.
Monday the 19th at Buckhannon CC-We will begin registration at 4:30pm and start playing shortly after 5pm due to darkness. At this time we have 11 signed up to play:

The annual Christmas dinner and awards program will be Saturday December 10th at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. We will ask the blessing on the food at 6pm. This year Dwayne Brown will deliver the Christmas message.

We fell short of the 6 required to hold an official outing today. We had 5 come out to play including myself, Larry Wamsley, Ezra Richards, Charlie Straley and Lynn Rexroad.
Our next outing is 17 days from now on Sunday September 18th at Riverbend at 2pm. I will get back with you over the weekend with updates for the rest of this month.

The outing for Monday has been cancelled due to low signup. I spoke with Polish Pines and informed them of the situation. I told them we ]would try again next year.

CGA Christmas dinner-Saturday December 10, 2016
Good evening. I have scheduled our annual CGA Christmas dinner for Saturday evening December 10, 2016 at 6pm. It will be held at the Steer Steakhouse in Weston. Please mark your calendars as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
