I am going to be on a trip during June and will miss the 2 outings at Riverbend and the outing at Stonewall. Here is the schedule for June and person that will be in charge while I am gone.

Thursday June 9 at Riverbend 5:00 (Ron Lamb collect fees/hopefully Beryl devotions)

Thursday June 23 at Riverbend 5:00 (Ron Lamb collect fees/Jeff Zickefoose devotions)

Sunday June 26 at Stonewall Resort 1:45 devotions, 2:30 shotgun start (Contact person will be Phil Austin to sign up Call by clicking the button (if visible) at the bottom of the post, email no_email or signup online at www.cgawv.org. Deadline to enter is Sunday June 19 at 9:00pm. (Jeff Zickefoose will lead devotions)

We have added an outing at Preston County CC for Thursday June 30. The cost will be $24 if we get at least 16 players ($28 if not).  We plan to meet their at 10:30-11:00 have a picnic lunch and do devotions and prayer,  are tee times are from 12:00-12:30.  You can sign up for this with Phil also. The deadline is Wednesday June 22 at 9:00pm. I will be back on the 27th and plan to go to Preston CC on the 30th.

As you play your matches please let me know the results. We made 2 decisions concerning the match play at our meeting last night. First, the rating you started with is what you must play with for this season (no changes). Second if a match can not be played during a certain month the 2 players should try to get it in sometime before October.

Merilyn Keith won the Golf blanket drawing of members. We currently have 52 members of the CGA.

I would like to invite anyone interested to a breakfast this Saturday May 7 at Kay’s Diner in Frenchcreek at 9:00am. We will do a Bible study after breakfast.
Also the group Macmillan and Life will be in concert at the Tennerton UM Church on Wednesday evening May 11 at 7:00pm. All are invited to attend.

The first outing of the season was just great. We had 29 attendees, which may be a record on Thursday evenings at Riverbend. We had great weather and the scores were very close. Here are the results:

Our next outing is Thursday April 28 at Riverbend. Registration will begin at 5:00pm, devotions at 5:15 and dinner after before golf. There are 3 options for play either: Male/Female scramble, individual play or 2 person scramble.

The first Stonewall outing of the year is Saturday April 30 at 2:00pm. The deadline to enter is Thursday April 28 at 9:00pm. You can enter at the next Riverbend outing or call me at 304-472-4047 or email me. You can also signup online at www.cgawv.org.

Also the deadline to enter the match play tourney is Thursday April 28 at 9:00pm. Currently we have 20 entered.
