Two issues have arisen from the match play event:
- Both players MUST play from the same set of tees. Since we are using handicaps both should agree on a set of tees to play from for each match.
- Also, when it comes to giving a putt. The only person who can give a putt is your opponent in the match.
The July schedule is as follows:
- July 7 (Thursday)
- 5PM – Riverbend
- Red, White and Blue-Regular men tees will be 3 red (1/4/7), 3 white (2/5/8) and 3 blue (3/6/9)
- 2 options for play will be 2 person scramble and individual play.
- Ezra Richards will do a reading about the American flag at 5:15 in leau of devotions this evening
- Monthly meeting for June/July after golf this evening. Please plan to stay as we make final plans for our Golf a Metaphor for Life Weekend (July 21-23).
- July 11 (Monday)
- Buckhannon Country Club
- 5:00pm – 2 person scramble or individual play
- Deadline to enter is Sunday July 10 at 9:00pm.
- You can enter at July 7 event at Riverbend or call Mike Hinkle.
- Golf a Metaphor for Life Weekend
- July 21 (Thursday) – Youth Tournament
- Riverbend
- People who can help out would be appreciated
- July 22 (Friday)
- Riverbend we will have 2 sessions of 9 holes.
- 8AM will start with registration and go through lunch until around 1:00pm
- 1PM 9 holes and go through dinner until around 6:00pm
- 7PM Gospel Sing and go until around 9:00pm
- July 23 (Saturday)
- 9am Breakfast at Ole Mill
- Afternoon 18 holes of golf at Stonewall
- 44 slots (11 teams) are available. Please start putting your teams together.
- Deadline to enter is Saturday July 16 at 9:00pm. You can enter one of the following ways.

I had told some of you that I was planning a trip to Moorefield on Thursday July 14 for the CGA, but that date did not work for the Valley View golf course.
