CGA News and Notes-Wednesday July 16, 2014

Good morning. Our next outing of the CGA is 3 days away on Saturday
the 19th at Stonewall. Please plan to arrive around 2pm for
registration. Clay Persinger and Phil Austin will organize things
while I am out of town. It would help if you could plan to pay by
check to the CGA. The cost is $47 for CGA members and $52 for
nonmembers. We currently have 16 entered with 4 spots available. If
you still would like to join the outing please email Clay at
cpersinger@cebridge.net.
The Buckhannon CC outing next Monday has been cancelled due to lack of entrants.
The next outing at Riverbend is Thursday July 24th at 5pm. Any
questions about this outing should be sent to Clay.
All questions and correspondence about the Labor Day outing at The
Greenbrier should still be sent to me. I spoke with Hill Herrick at
The Greenbrier and he has allowed us until August 3rd to get our final
count for this outing. As of Wednesday July 16th at 6:30am we have 35
who have paid at least their deposit of $40. I also have an additional
10 or so that have verbally committed to playing and are sending their
payments this week. The most we can have for this outing is 64
players. If you still want to enter you must send me a check payable
to the CGA for $40. The total amount is due by August 15th. ($80 for
CGA members and $85 for nonmembers).

Verse of the Day
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! — Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV)
