Hi everyone on this midday Friday. Hope your day is going well. We now
are down to the last 5 outings of the 2014 golf season.
Our next outing is Saturday September 13th at Riverbend. It is our
annual Match Play tournament with registration starting at 8am. We
will have coffee and doughnuts between 8 and 8:30. We will hold
devotions starting at 8:30am with the tournament starting at 9am. The
format will be 2 person scramble (9 hole matches played). Each team is
guaranteed 18 holes with 2 teams possibly playing an additional 9
holes to decide the champions. The couples will play together and the
men will randomly draw for their partner. The cost is $25 for
nonmembers of Riverbend and $5 for members of Riverbend. The schedule
for the day is as follows:
8-8:30 registration
8:30am Devotions/Prayer
8:45am Draw for teams/pairings
9:00am-11:00am Round 1
11:15-1:15 Round 2
1:30-3:30 Championship Round
For those who played last night when play was stopped your payment can
be used for the next time you play with the CGA.
The Stonewall outing on Saturday September 20th is in need of players.
We currently have only 5 signed up. We have room for 11 players as of
now. We must have at least 10 to have this outing. This outing has
registration at 1pm with a 2pm tee time.
