The Labor Day outing at the Greenbrier has a deadline of August 1st to enter and pay a $50 deposit.  So far we have 12 signed up to play.  I have room for 64 golfers but when August 1st gets here that number may be greatly reduced.
On Sunday August 30th I am planning a gospel sing on the Little Sorrell boat at Stonewall Resort. There is no cost to ride at this time for CGA members but we are asking those that go to give a love offering to our singer. The plan is to meet at 3pm and the boat will leave at 3:30pm for a 1 hour cruise down the lake. I am asking those that are interested to signup. The boat will hold up to 100 people and there are other churches that are participating as well. You can signup by email or at any of our CGA outings between now and then.
God Bless and hope to see you tomorrow at Riverbend.

Mike

Verse of the Day
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! — Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV)
