Good midday of the week to all of you. This Sunday April 17th is the start of the CGA golf season for our chapter. The weather forecast is looking great. We are meeting at Riverbend Golf Club. We will be collecting membership payments from 1:30-2:00 pm and then start the meeting at 2pm. At the end of the meeting we will draw 1 name for a golf package at Lakeview Resort. To be eligible you must be present and join or rejoin our chapter. Following the meeting we will play a 9 hole tipoff outing to get the season rolling. For nonmembers of Riverbend the cost has risen from $10 to $12 this year. This makes the cost $17 instead of $15 for nonmembers of Riverbend with $5 going to the CGA.
This Sunday is also the last day to enter the Saturday April 23rd outing at Bel Meadows. Currently we have only 4 signed up to play this outing. We need 6 to have an outing, but really should have at least 8 for an out of Buckhannon outing in case someone can't make it that day.
