Good morning Christian brothers and sisters. Ezra Richards birdie on
the 9th hole was the tiebreaking factor for the low team score overall
and the low team score tiebreaker for the 6th hole. Here are all the

The Deerfield outing scheduled for next Thursday August 14th has been
cancelled due to lack of entrants. So there are no outings next week.
The following week we have 3 outings scheduled to complete the August
portion of the Chapter golf schedule.
First we play on Monday August 18th at Buckhannon CC at 5pm. We now
have 15 players entered. The deadline to enter is next Thursday August
14th.
We again play at Riverbend on Thursday August 21st at 5pm
We also play at Stonewall Resort on Sunday August 24th at 2pm. We now
have 11 players entered. The deadline to enter is Saturday August
16th.
One final note. I need all final payments for the Greenbrier outing in
the next couple of weeks. We still have 6 spots available for those
still interested in playing.

Good morning Christian friends. Thanks for all your prayers for a safe
trip for us to Colorado. We got home yesterday evening. We had a great
trip.
Our next CGA outing is this Thursday August 7th at Riverbend at 5pm.
The month of July was a slow month for our Chapter. We had to cancel 2
outings due to lack of players and 1 was cancelled due to the weather.
We had 2 outings this past month (both at Riverbend). Here is the

To enter the Greenbrier requires a $40 deposit. The schedule for the
day begins with registration at 11am, devotions/prayer around 11:30
and warmup time around noon. The tee time is scheduled for 1pm. Last
year we started a bit early, so that may be the case this year as
well.
Natalie and I as well as our daughter Leanna will be traveling to
Colorado along with my inlaws for the next couple of weeks. Since Ron
Lamb will also be out of town at this time, I have ask Clay Persinger
and Phil Austin to oversee the next few outings in July for the CGA. I
will be back with you on August 7th at Riverbend. Please remember us

The Woods. The weather was great, the golf courses were in excellent

change the outlook of this event. After golf we will have ice cream in
the clubhouse courtesy of the association.

Woods Resort for 3 days/3 nights.
Our next outing following the Woods Resort trip is Thursday July 10th
at Riverbend. We will have our annual Par 3 outing where we give away
$225 worth of gift cards to various restaurants. This year we will
play the course backwards to make it an entirely different course.
Please plan to join us (let’s shoot to fill the course with 36
players). We will random draw for teams. After golf we will have ice
cream as we give away the gift cards for the evening.

system format that awarded points for being the first on the green,
the closest to the pin and the first in the hole. Congrats to Ron
